.        As a member of NSGWA, you automatically become a member of the Canadian Ground Water Association, with benefits such as:

         -         CGWA has reciprocal agreements with the National Ground Water Association (NGWA) (USA), and the Australian Drillers Association. You have membership rates for books, drillers magazines, conventions, etc.

.        NSGWA holds regular meetings, both technical and social, which provide opportunities to interact and exchange information with others in the industry. For example: 

         -         An annual general meeting is held each January.

         -         Regional (continuing education) meetings that are held every year at various locations throughout Nova Scotia.

         -         The May meeting is followed by a lobster and steak dinner and awards night, at which the following awards are presented: Driller of the Year, Pump Installer of the Year, and the W. E. (Buster) Brown Founders Award.
